The EKL2-40 offers a switching capacity of 6 kA and combines the complete protection of modern installations against short-circuit currents, overloads, fault currents, and indirect contact in a single module. The 30 mA versions also offer additional protection against direct contact.

The1P+N electronic residual current device with overcurrent protection (RCBO)the seriesEKL2-40Offer a switching capacity of 6 kA and, in a single module, meet the requirements for devices that comprehensively protect modern installations against short-circuit currents, overloads, fault currents, and indirect contact. The 30 mA versions offer additional protection against direct contact.

The single-module, commercial RCBO has an earth wire that ensures the detection of fault currents – even in the event of an unintentional neutral wire failure in the installation.

These electronic RCBOs can be installed in countries where the use of 1P+N RCBOs with functional earthing is already established.
